Job summary

Caterpillar NZ is seeking a Test Engineer to join the CTCT division, focusing on testing of machine control software and hardware. You will work with software and system engineers to ensure high-quality products for earthmoving industries.

The role covers API, integration and system testing, creating test plans, and developing automated test scripts to improve efficiency. ISTQB certification and knowledge of C++, Web, or Android are beneficial.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in QA or software testing
• ISTQB certification beneficial
• C++, Web or Android knowledge beneficial
• Experience with Auto Test writing and test frameworks

Responsibilities

• API, integration and system testing of products during development
• Create and update test and regression plans
• Develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts
• Help diagnose, troubleshoot and reproduce customer escalated cases
• Ensure high-quality CTCT software and hardware
