Job summary

Richard Crookes Constructions (RCC) in Wellington is seeking an experienced Services Manager to lead major projects, oversee service delivery, and drive client satisfaction across internal stakeholders.

You will review contract services drawings, coordinate design documents, manage commissioning and handover, and provide strategic guidance to optimise project outcomes within RCC budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior-level services management role on large projects.
• Experience leading services teams and developing delivery strategies.
• Familiarity with construction industry service requirements and standards.
• Experience with client relationship management and satisfaction initiatives.
• Ability to provide strategic guidance on services-related decisions.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret contract services drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Review Tender Proposals for services trades to identify possibilities related to materials, equipment, resources, cost and time.
• Liaise with the CA and PM for contract administration procedures handling claims, securities, variations and other matters.
• Identify services design and delivery risks and prepare mitigation strategies.
• Investigate services design alternatives and cost saving options.
• Monitor the services design program with Consultants and Senior Project Managers.
• Manage services inputs and outputs against programme through design meetings.
• Coordinate services design documents to meet Principal needs within RCC budget and program.
• Plan and manage commissioning and handover with Test & commissioning team.
