Job summary

Richard Crookes Constructions (RCC) is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support Project Managers in delivering high-quality, on-time projects in New Zealand. You will help maintain design quality and constructability using innovation and sound engineering practices.

Responsibilities include coordinating subs, refining schedules, and ensuring cost, quality, and environmental controls are met on-site while prioritising health and safety for all personnel involved.

• Support Project & Site Management: Assist with project coordination and subcontractor management, supporting on-time completion and quality adherence.
• Design Management: Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve design issues and provide technical input during design and construction phases.
• Program Preparation & Administration: Help develop and maintain detailed project schedules, supporting effective program management and delivery.
• Site-Based Execution: Assist in cost management, quality assurance, and environmental controls on-site, ensuring compliance and reporting progress to senior engineers.
• Health & Safety Advocacy: Support health and safety initiatives, ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to provide assistance to the Project Managers to ensure the successful delivery of the project including maintaining and improvement in the quality and timeliness of detailed design and construction within assign discipline. The role is required to provide additional values to clients through the use of innovation design and construct knowledge, processes, tools and techniques.
