Placements24 is seeking a Geophysical Analyst specialized in seismic interpretation to join our exploration team in Queenstown, NZ. You will process, interpret, and integrate seismic datasets to delineate structures and identify reservoirs, collaborating with geologists and engineers.
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, 5+ years in seismic interpretation, and proficiency with Petrel, GeoGraphix, and Kingdom Suite.
Qualificações
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geophysics, Geology, or related Earth Science.
- Minimum 5 years of seismic interpretation experience in Oil & Gas.
- Proficiency in Petrel, GeoGraphix, and Kingdom Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication.
Responsabilidades
- Perform seismic data processing and quality control.
- Interpret 2D and 3D seismic data to identify structures.
- Integrate seismic data with well logs, cores, and other data.
- Generate geological models based on interpretations.
- Conduct attribute analysis and inversion studies.
- Evaluate exploration opportunities and assess subsurface risks.
- Prepare technical reports, maps, and presentations.
- Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, and engineers.
- Stay updated on seismic interpretation technologies.
