Job summary

Randstad New Zealand is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer in Wellington to join a collaborative Agile DevOps team. The role blends hands-on coding with functional solution design to build and modernise a core enterprise platform servicing field workforce management, case management, CRM, and survey data collection.

You will design and implement Apex, LWC, and Flow automations, manage deployments, and work with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in ICT or related field.
• Salesforce Admin and App Builder certifications.
• 5+ years of Salesforce development/consulting experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build custom solutions using Apex, LWC, and advanced flows.
• Deliver declarative configurations, including pages, validation rules, and automated workflows.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce architecture solutions.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and platform enhancements.
• Build accessible user interfaces aligned with digital accessibility standards.

About The Role

You will help build, scale, and modernise a core enterprise platform covering field workforce management, case management, CRM, and survey data collection.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and advanced flows.
• Deliver declarative configurations, including record pages, validation rules, and automated workflow flows.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, functional, and secure Salesforce architecture solutions.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, platform enhancements, and ongoing bug resolutions.
• Build custom user interfaces aligned with modern digital accessibility and government standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, refine designs, and maximise platform value.

Skills & Experience

• Certified Salesforce Administrator and Platform App Builder.
• Strong technical and functional expertise across Service Cloud, Omni-Channel, and Field Service.
• Proven experience writing production-grade Apex code, custom LWCs, and complex Flow automations.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce deployment management, CI/CD tools, and version control.
• Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach to design and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong commitment to software quality, accessibility standards, and meeting project deadlines.
