Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Salesforce Administrator to join a global Salesforce team supporting a large and diverse user base across multiple international regions.

This is a hands-on role combining day-to-day Salesforce administration with project, change and continuous improvement work. You will work alongside experienced Salesforce engineers and technical leads, while taking ownership of functional administration, configuration, user support, automation, reporting and ongoing platform improvements. This is an administration-first role: candidates are expected to be confident with SOQL, DML and Apex trigger basics for day-to-day configuration, but deeper Apex development is a bonus, not a requirement, and this is not intended as a primary development position.

The successful candidate will need to be highly self-sufficient. With the wider team distributed internationally, you will need to be comfortable managing your workload independently, making sensible decisions within agreed standards and collaborating with colleagues across multiple time zones.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day Salesforce administration, including users, permissions, fields, objects, page layouts, record types and general platform configuration.
  • Support business users with Salesforce-related queries, issues and change requests.
  • Build, maintain and troubleshoot Salesforce Flows to support business processes and improve efficiency.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into practical Salesforce solutions.
  • Manage a mixture of BAU administration, support activity and project-based Salesforce work.
  • Support ongoing platform improvement, standardisation and change initiatives.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support business users and improve visibility of key information.
  • Support data quality and general Salesforce data management activities.
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and work with the wider technical team where more complex support is required.
  • Support the implementation of new functionality, configuration changes and process improvements.
  • Assist with Salesforce migration or consolidation activity where required.
  • Carry out appropriate testing of configuration and process changes before they are handed over for wider business testing.
  • Work closely and communicate confidently with Salesforce engineers, technical leads, business analysts and support functions, managing stakeholders effectively and escalating more complex development or architectural requirements where appropriate.
  • Use Salesforce data tools, and SOQL where appropriate, to support troubleshooting and investigation.
  • Maintain clear documentation for key changes, processes and configurations.
  • Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with colleagues across multiple international regions and time zones, working independently without requiring close day-to-day supervision.
  • Manage priorities independently while keeping the wider team informed of progress, risks and blockers.
  • Remain calm and professional when dealing with urgent issues or business-critical support requirements.
