Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer – Roading to lead the Local Roads package on the Northland Corridor PPP project in New Zealand. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary design and delivery to achieve integrated transport outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement with contractors and councils, and a focus on risk, quality and programme milestones while adhering to NZ standards and consent processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience delivering transport infrastructure in NZ and AU.
• Strong design coordination and package management.
• Proven ability to coordinate with contractors, services and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination and delivery of the Local Roads package within the Northland Corridor.
• Manage interfaces across drainage, utilities, structures and geotechnical.
• Coordinate with contractor teams to align operational requirements.
• Identify risks and opportunities, delivering practical solutions.
• Support project milestones within budget and ensure design quality.
• Ensure compliance with local authority standards and consent conditions.
