Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer – Roading Lead to drive delivery of the Northland Corridor in Auckland. This leadership role coordinates design, drainage, utilities, structures and interfaces to deliver integrated transport solutions.

You will navigate complexity, manage stakeholders, and align technical and operational needs to achieve outstanding project outcomes on a prestigious PPP-backed program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering transport infrastructure in NZ and Australia.
• Strong design coordination and package management experience.
• Proven ability to engage with contractors, maintenance and operations teams, designers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and delivery of the State Highway Roads package within the Northland Corridor.
• Manage interfaces across drainage, utilities, structures and geotechnical disciplines.
• Coordinate with contractor teams to ensure understanding of operational requirements.
• Identify risks and opportunities, developing practical solutions to support the project and team.
• Support the Roading discipline to meet milestones and budget targets.
• Ensure design solutions align with technical standards and consent conditions.
