Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer - Roading to lead the coordination and design delivery of the Northland Corridor’s State Highway Roads package. You will align drainage, utilities, structures and geotechnical interfaces to deliver integrated transport solutions in a high-profile PPP context.

You’ll manage cross-disciplinary interfaces, drive design coordination, mentor teams, and ensure compliance with NZ standards and consent conditions while delivering on time and within

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering transport infrastructure in NZ and Australia.
• Strong design coordination and package management experience.
• Proven ability to coordinate with contractors, maintenance teams, designers and stakeholders.
• Experience using NZ design standards, consenting processes and approvals.
• Experience using design software (12d, Civil 3D, OpenRoads or AutoCAD).

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination and delivery of the State Highway Roads package (Section One delivery) within the Northland Corridor project.
• Manage interfaces across drainage, utilities, structures and geotechnical.
• Coordinate with contractor teams to ensure understanding of operational requirements.
• Identify risks, constraints and opportunities, developing practical solutions to support the project.
• Support Roading discipline to achieve milestones and stay within budget.
• Support multidisciplinary teams in delivering practical, buildable infrastructure solutions.
• Ensure project requirements, technical standards and consent conditions are incorporated in the design solution.
• Review project deliverables and outputs for alignment with objectives.
• Champion collaboration, quality and delivery excellence across the project team.
