Job summary

Halter is seeking an Experienced RF Engineer to own RF/antenna systems across wearable and infrastructure products, from concept to mass production. You will define system-level RF requirements and collaborate with firmware, systems, and mechanical teams to meet performance and manufacturability targets.

You will lead simulations, impedance matching, antenna tuning, and OTA validation, while conducting field tests and coordinating with suppliers and test labs for high-volume production

Qualifications

• Experienced RF or Antenna Engineer taking antenna systems from concept to high-volume production.
• Deep understanding of electromagnetic fundamentals, RF propagation, impedance matching, and PCB/integrated antenna design.
• Hands on experience with RF simulation and analysis tools.
• Proficiency with test and measurement equipment such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Experience designing RF systems for IoT, wearable, or low power wireless products (BLE, LoRa, GPS, Wi-Fi, sub-GHz, LTE).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, simulation, prototyping, and validation of high performance antennas and RF systems for Halter's wearable and infrastructure products.
• Define system level RF requirements and architecture in collaboration with firmware, systems, and mechanical teams.
• Drive electromagnetic simulation, impedance matching, antenna tuning, and over the air performance optimisation.
• Conduct field testing and data analysis to validate designs under real world conditions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure robust design-for-manufacture and testing of RF assemblies, including travel.
• Own and maintain RF performance metrics, antenna validation processes, and compliance testing (EMC, regulatory).
• Mentor and develop other engineers in RF design principles and best practices.
• Partner with global suppliers and test labs to deliver high-volume production ready antenna solutions.
