Job summary

Makana Northland Limited in Kerikeri, North Island, is seeking an experienced Senior Retail Assistant to join our Boutique Chocolate Factory. The successful candidate will deliver a world-class shopping experience and support both in-store sales and online orders.

This permanent role is ideally 5 days per week with one weekend day, with excellent terms including fully subsidised Health Insurance and a vibrant hospitality/retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• NZ resident or eligible to work permanently in NZ.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a world-class shopping experience.
• Handle in-store sales and online order processing.
• Maintain high standards of personal presentation and store appearance.
• Assist with daily operations across a rep Anniversary open hours.

Makana Northland Limited – Kerikeri, North Island

Join our established team at Makana’s exceptional Boutique Chocolate Factory in Kerikeri, which is now under new ownership.

We are seeking an experienced Retailer (or customer oriented super stars with relevant transferable skills) to join our team as a Senior Retail Assistant.

Makana Boutique Chocolate factory is a unique retail experience, and we make all our confections on the premises. We are open 7 days a week from 9.00am to 5.30pm for in store sales and online order processing.

The position is permanent, ideally 5 days per week and the work pattern will include either a Saturday or a Sunday each week. We would consider Permanent Part Time for the ideal candidates.

Great pay rates depending on level of experience and responsibilities. Excellent terms and conditions including fully subsidised Health Insurance.

Applicants – will need the following:

• The desire to take on the challenge of providing customers with a world-class shopping experience
• Previous experience in a fast paced/ high volume retail (or equivalent) environment
• High standards of personal presentation
• Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Exemplary interpersonal and customer service skills
