Job summary

Mitchell Daysh, a specialist environmental and planning consultancy, is seeking an experienced environmental planner to join our New Zealand team. You’ll lead and contribute to nationally significant projects across renewables, infrastructure, and resources, applying your technical excellence and report-writing skills.

Based in New Zealand, you will work with a team of 45 leading specialists, benefit from hybrid working across 8 offices, and collaborate with EMM Consulting to expand

Qualifications

• Planning or environmental science degree required.
• 8+ years’ experience in resource management planning or environmental science-related field.
• Solid understanding of NZ regulations and environmental guidelines (RMA, FTAA).
• Strong project management and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver a range of nationally significant projects across renewables, extraction, and infrastructure.
• Prepare high-quality reports, recommendations and assessments.
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships including iwi, councils and government.
• Collaborate with Mitchell Daysh and EMM Consulting to grow capability.
