You will lead complex planning challenges, leverage your eight-plus years of experience, and apply regulatory knowledge to deliver strategic outcomes for clients. Hybrid working across NZ offices supports flexibility and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Planning or environmental science degree required.
• Minimum 8+ years in resource management planning or environmental science field.
• Strong understanding of NZ regulation (RMA/FTAA) and delivering client outcomes.
• Proven problem-solving and lateral thinking skills.
• Established relationships with stakeholders including iwi, councils and government.
• Solid project management skills and ability to produce high-quality reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work on diverse nation-shaping projects in renewables, resources and infrastructure.
• Deliver strategic and innovative solutions showcasing technical expertise, project management and report writing.
• Contribute from day one with a voice in shaping growth; collaborate with leaders to mentor others.
• Receive support from experienced leaders and help grow the Mitchell Daysh team, inspiring colleagues.
• Operate across 8 NZ offices with hybrid working to flexibly support project delivery.
