The Ministry of Education is seeking an experienced analyst for a two-year fixed-term role in Wellington. You will manage the Te Tīrewa Mātai contract with a provider and perform analysis of achievement data for ākonga in Māori-medium education. The role requires strong communication with providers and senior leaders.

Fluency in Te Reo is required. Salary range is $100,000–$120,000 per annum plus KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be placed based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with data analysis or other methodological research.
• Experience working in or researching Māori-medium education sector.
• Motivation to make a difference in education.
• Ability to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.

Responsabilités

• Manage the contract (Te Tīrewa Mātai) with the provider and ensure timely, quality delivery.
• Conduct analysis of achievement data for ākonga in Māori-medium education.
• Act as primary liaison between the provider and the Ministry.
• Contribute to reporting and insights for senior leaders.
