Job summary

Education Review Office (ERO) in Wellington is seeking a Data Analyst to support planning, analysis and project work for the Chief of Data and Insights.

The role requires 2–3 years’ experience and skills in Excel, Power BI, R and SQL, with a collaborative, can-do approach and experience building relationships. Starting salary is NZD 85,000 negotiable, dependent on experience.

• 2–3 years of experience in a similar data-focused role.
• Proven ability to work with Excel, Power BI, R and SQL.
• Experience with data and databases.
• Experience with process design and documentation.

Data Analyst is accountable to the Chief of Data and Insights for the provision of support for planning, analysis and other project work in the Education Review Office.

About you

We are looking for someone who has 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.

We want to hear about any of the following in your cover letter and CV:

• Your skills and experience in Excel, Power BI, R, and SQL
• Your experience in working with data and databases
• Your experience with process design and documentation
• Examples of key relationships you've built and how and why relationships are important.
