Job summary

The Ministry of Education’s Operations and Insights team is seeking a permanent, full-time Analyst to join in Rotorua or Tauranga. You will analyse data, trends and achievement information to inform regional programmes and provide analytical support to staff across integrated teams.

Based in the Bay of Plenty with a focus on data-driven decision making, you will prepare written communications, working papers and presentations while collaborating with iwi and hapū in Te Mahau.

Qualifications

• Full, current driver licence.
• Experience collecting, collating and analysing data.
• Ability to use data/insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities and influence decisions.
• Strong written communication, numerical, statistical and IT skills.
• Exceptional time management and prioritisation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work across teams.
• Ability to understand and apply Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangata whenuatanga.
