SearchApi is seeking a senior Ruby on Rails engineer to become the technical backbone of the product. You will own the hardest PRs, raise the bar for the codebase, and eventually take technical load off the CEO. This is a hands‑on role with no management duties.

Remote‑only, async‑first, results‑driven. You will shape technical direction, review code, and ship production features across billing, API, and dashboard components.

Qualifications

• Many years of Ruby on Rails experience.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Proven track record delivering production Rails apps.

Responsabilités

• Own the hardest PRs and performance‑critical code.
• Review other engineers' PRs and mentor through code review.
• Build enterprise features (SAML, SCIM, audit logs, permissions).
• Handle billing and payments integrations with Stripe.
• Create and iterate on product features and developer experience.
