Job summary

SearchApi is seeking a builder‑designer hybrid who ships premium-looking, production-ready frontend. You’ll design in Figma and ship directly in production using Rails + Hotwire, Tailwind, and native HTML-first approaches.

You’ll own dashboards, an interactive API playground, and the docs/marketing experience, with a strong eye for honest data visualization and a taste for high‑quality UI. You’ll work remotely with a bootstrapped, customer‑facing SaaS focused on real‑time search data.

Qualifications

• Production frontend you designed and built yourself with live links.
• Strong server-rendered, component-based stack experience (Rails + Hotwire preferred).
• Fluent in Tailwind and a real design tool like Figma.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship features from Figma to a merged PR: ViewComponents, Stimulus, Tailwind, and the whole stack.
• Own the dashboard: analytics, usage history, billing, API keys, and a calm data-dense console.
• Build interactive API playgrounds where real requests return structured JSON in real time.
• Own the docs and marketing experience: keep the component system coherent, fast, and beautiful as the product grows.
• Create honest data visualizations that developers trust at a glance.
