Job summary

Tait Communications in Christchurch, New Zealand, is seeking a Senior Quality Process Lead to drive process excellence and strengthen quality systems across the business. You will identify opportunities to improve how we work, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote scalable processes that support growth.

You will partner with leaders and SMEs to design future-state processes, build quality capability through coaching and training, and lead audits and performance reporting to deliver

Qualifications

  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives across cross-functional organisations.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement practices.
  • Auditing experience with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and service delivery environments.
  • Experience developing quality frameworks, procedures, and documentation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Experience working in international or multi-site businesses.
  • Able to deliver practical, value-driven process improvements.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in telecommunications, technology, engineering, SaaS, or service-based organisations advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with teams across the organisation to analyse end-to-end processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and customer outcomes.
  • Lead the design and delivery of process improvement initiatives that strengthen operational performance, reduce risk, and embed sustainable ways of working across the enterprise.
  • Build quality capability across the organisation through training, coaching, and practical guidance.
  • Maintain and enhance Quality Management Systems to remain fit for purpose and aligned to standards.
  • Lead internal reviews and audits, and oversee corrective actions through to sustained resolution.
  • Lead quality performance reporting and management review processes for visibility of trends and risks.
  • Develop scalable quality and performance systems to enable growth into new markets and products.
