Job summary

Arvion Services is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to own end-to-end quality for global fintech payment platforms. You will drive test automation strategy, design production-grade frameworks, and mentor QA engineers.

Lead integration and UI automation efforts, balance manual and automated testing, and own CI/CD quality across onboarding, payments, and settlement. Hybrid work with strategic collaboration across regions.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years designing and building production-grade test automation solutions.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Proven experience in test framework design and quality architecture.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases for testing and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on API testing with tools like Postman or equivalent.
• Experience with UI automation frameworks such as Playwright/Cypress.
• Knowledge of functional and non-functional testing methods (performance, security, etc.).
• Experience balancing manual and automated testing to achieve quality outcomes.
• Hands-on use of AI-assisted development and testing tools.
• Experience leading QA engineers and guiding test architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and own integration test frameworks and contract testing for payment-related flows.
• Lead development of automated tests across onboarding, payments, FX, settlement, and related domains.
• Define the balance between manual and automated testing strategies.
• Develop and execute automated tests using Playwright or equivalent.
• Own CI/CD quality strategy, including release gating and defect management.
• Investigate production incidents and translate findings into automated tests and improvements.
• Lead test architecture reviews and mentor QA engineers.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted testing tools and practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Architecture and Compliance teams to ensure quality.
