Job description

IPM Engineering Group is putting together a panel submission to Dunedin City Council for project management support across 3 Waters and Transport capital works, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to be named as key personnel on the bid.

This is a contract/associate opportunity, engaged as-required once the panel is awarded (expected late 2026), so it suits someone already contracting or semi-independent, or open to a flexible panel arrangement alongside other work.

What you'll bring:

• 10+ years delivering infrastructure, construction or capital works projects, ideally for local government or public-sector clients.
• Three recent, referenceable projects you can point to for scope, budget and stakeholder outcomes.
• A relevant tertiary qualification and professional registration (PMP, CPEng or similar).
• Based in Dunedin or the lower South Island is a strong plus — Council's evaluation panel scores this explicitly.
