Job summary

IPM Engineering Group seeks a Senior Project Manager for a contract/associate role on a Dunedin-based panel submission to Dunedin City Council, covering 3 Waters and Transport capital works. The engagement is on an as-required basis once the panel is awarded (late 2026), ideal for a contractor or semi-independent professional alongside other work.

Applicants should have 10+ years delivering infrastructure projects, three reference projects, and a relevant tertiary qualification with PMP or CPEng

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering infrastructure or capital works projects.
• Three recent, referenceable projects with scope, budget and outcomes.
• Relevant tertiary qualification and professional registration (PMP, CPEng).

Responsibilities

• Lead project management delivery for 3 Waters and Transport capital works.
• Coordinate with council stakeholders and panel evaluators.
• Travel to Dunedin as required.
