Omexom New Zealand invites applications for a Senior Project Manager based in Mt. Wellington, Auckland. You will plan and deliver large-scale electrical construction projects, ensuring milestones, quality, and profitability.

The role requires hands-on management across electrical disciplines and mentoring junior PMs. You will oversee budgeting, reporting, risk management, and client variations while maintaining strict regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Estimating/tendering skills with hands-on ability.
• Proven senior management experience in electrical/construction projects.
• Hands-on electrical and construction project management.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and contract law.
• Excellent interpersonal and mentoring abilities.
• Full NZ Driver's license (Class 1).

Responsabilités

• Plan and implement projects to meet time, quality, and profit targets.
• Manage project margins; identify cost and time issues and take corrective actions.
• Prepare and deliver contractual and company reports on time.
• Ensure governance and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Drive continuous improvements within the Management System.
• Mentor and develop project managers across the team.
• Re-estimate labour requirements monthly to complete jobs.
• Identify and obtain client sign-off on variations and contract compliance.
