Job summary

CGR Services is seeking a seasoned project leader to drive delivery of complex change across our enterprise. You will shape delivery plans, align business and technology teams, and push for outcomes that meet scope, timelines and budgets.

You’ll work with senior stakeholders to ensure benefits realization while coaching teams to adopt best practices and improve delivery maturity. Hybrid work with on-site collaboration is available.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery planning for complex/high-risk/high-value/visible projects.
• Define and maintain scope, delivery approach, milestones and critical path.
• Manage end-to-end delivery execution aligned to outcomes, scope, timing and budget.
• Own RAID management for complex projects.
• Define resource requirements and mobilisation.
• Prepare and maintain governance materials, status reports and escalation packs.
• Partner with Business Owners, sponsors and senior stakeholders to align outcomes.

Job description

Working closely with business and technology leaders, you'll provide the structure, leadership, and momentum needed to turn strategy into results.

Reporting into our Head of Delivery, your role involves:

• Leading delivery planning for complex or high-risk / high-value/ high-visibility projects
• Defining and maintaining scope, delivery approach, milestones and critical path
• Managing end-to-end delivery execution aligned to agreed outcomes, scope, timing, budget
• Owning RAID management for complex projects
• Defining project resource requirements and mobilisation needs
• Preparing and maintaining project governance materials, status reports, decision papers and escalation packs where required
• Partnering with Business Owners, sponsors and senior stakeholders to align delivery outcomes

This role is about more than delivering projects. You'll help raise the bar for project delivery across the Group by sharing your expertise, coaching others, and promoting best practice. Working closely with teams across Technology and the business, you'll drive consistent delivery excellence and ensure projects achieve their intended outcomes and benefits.

Qualifications

You're a seasoned project leader with a track record of delivering complex change in large-scale environments. You combine strong delivery discipline with exceptional stakeholder management skills and know how to bring people together to achieve outcomes.

You'll bring:

• Significant experience delivering complex, high-risk or high-value projects in enterprise environments (retail experience would be a bonus)
• Strong expertise in: Project planning & critical path management, Governance, reporting and delivery assurance
• A passion for developing capability and improving how projects are delivered
• A knack for managing ambiguity, competing priorities and delivery risk
• Ability to translate complexity into clear guidance, decisions and actions
• Strong analytical judgement and problem-solving capability
