Job summary

Halter is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the end-to-end stack behind production test systems, from data capture at the test station to databases, dashboards and APIs.

You will build robust AWS tooling, set standards for quality, security and observability, and help shape the technical roadmap as we scale. Strong backend, data engineering and experience shipping production systems are essential, with Go or Python and SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and shipping complex production systems.
• Strong, hands-on AWS engineering across scaleable tooling.
• Backend and data engineering with REST APIs, events and databases.
• Experience with platform/infrastructure tooling at scale (AWS, Terraform, CI/CD).
• Ability to set direction, roadmaps and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end stack behind production test systems, from data capture at the test station to databases and APIs.
• Build robust, scalable AWS tooling that moves factory data to the teams that need it.
• Set standards for quality, security, observability, and release.
• Help shape the technical roadmap and make architecture calls as volume grows.
