Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Power Project Manager to lead delivery of Power Delivery projects across New Zealand. You will manage complex projects from planning to completion, coordinating clients, technical teams, contractors and stakeholders to deliver safely, on time and within budget.

With 15+ years in power project management, you will mentor leaders, build client relationships, and drive cross-discipline collaboration while advancing Stantec’s Power Delivery portfolio in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• 15 years relevant project management experience in power/utilities.
• Experience delivering complex power/utility projects from pursuit to closeout.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets.
• Strong client relationship skills and high service standards.
• Ability to mentor and develop project management talent.

Responsibilities

• Protect health and safety of personnel and public per guidelines.
• Manage multiple projects, objectives, and performance standards.
• Lead proposals, planning studies, feasibility, design, and construction services.
• Resource planning, contract terms, cost and schedule control.
• Mentor and develop future leaders, succession planning.
• Develop client relationships and promote collaboration across teams.
