Job summary

Stantec in New Zealand is seeking a Senior Power Project Manager to lead the delivery of Power Delivery projects across the country, coordinating planning, design and construction with clients, technical specialists and contractors. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and on-time, on-budget delivery while building strong client relationships.

You will provide leadership across project delivery, mentor upcoming leaders, and contribute to growth of Stantec's Power Delivery portfolio,

Qualifications

• 15 years of project management experience in power/utilities projects.
• Experience with utility, power systems, substations or transmission.
• Strong leadership, risk, cost and stakeholder management across teams.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop project managers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Power Delivery projects across New Zealand from planning to completion.
• Manage resources, costs, schedule and contract terms to stay on time and budget.
• Provide leadership, risk management, and quality assurance across multidisciplinary teams.
• Build client relationships and collaborate across geographies and business lines.
• Mentor future leaders and develop succession plans for key roles.
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed on all project activities.
