Job summary

Stantec's Buildings team in New Zealand delivers end-to-end projects from feasibility through to construction, commissioning and operation, specialising in data centres and healthcare. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our experienced team and deliver technically excellent electrical solutions.

You will lead design and delivery across diverse projects, mentor junior engineers, and maintain strong client relationships while coordinating with other disciplines to exceed

Qualifications

• BE degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent).
• 7 years' experience in electrical building services design.
• Experience in data centres and healthcare facilities.
• Strong track record delivering complex projects on time and budget; NZ codes knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical services on building projects.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
• Maintain strong client relationships and exceed expectations.
• Prepare high-quality design documentation (REVIT knowledge desirable).
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for junior engineers.
• Contribute to business development and growth of the electrical services division.
