Job summary

Higgins in Waikato seeks a Senior Project Manager with strong road stabilisation experience to lead delivery across projects from planning to completion. You will manage multiple crews, oversee programme, cost, quality and risk, and mentor Project Managers and site teams on a portfolio that includes high-value contracts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering road stabilisation projects within civil construction (NZ/region preferred).
• Experience managing multiple stabilising crews or operations.
• Strong commercial capability, including pricing projects valued at NZ$10M+.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of stabilising projects from planning through to completion.
• Manage multiple operations with high-quality results.
• Oversee programme, cost, quality, and risk across your portfolio.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and direction to Project Managers and site teams.
• Manage contracts, pricing, and commercial performance, including negotiations.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Champion a strong health and safety culture with prevention focus.
