Job summary

Beca Limited in Tauranga is seeking a Planner to join our Planning team. You’ll manage packages of work, collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams and deliver high-quality planning advice across Aotearoa New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Degree in planning, environmental management or related discipline (NZPI membership or working towards).
• 5+ years NZ planning experience.
• Sound knowledge of the RMA and planning legislation.
• Collaborative, client-focused approach.
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage packages of work (financial & programme) and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Support junior planners and contribute within a multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver high-quality urban and environmental planning advice for projects in Aotearoa NZ.
• Collaborate with transport, landscape, urban design, environmental and engineering specialists.
