Job summary

ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to lead the planning and scheduling for major civil infrastructure projects across New Zealand. Based in Hamilton, Tauranga or Hawke’s Bay, you will own project programmes and work closely with delivery teams to drive on-time performance.

You will develop methodologies, track performance, and perform delay analyses, EOT support, and commercial coordination. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in planning, scheduling, or project controls within civil construction or infrastructure.
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Experience with delay analysis, forensic scheduling, or EOT claims.
• Understanding of construction methodologies and project sequencing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a project team.
• A proactive and commercially aware approach to project planning.

Based in Hamilton, Tauranga or Hawke’s Bay, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of project planning and work closely with delivery teams on complex civil projects.
