Job summary

BNZ in Auckland seeks an experienced Pega Architect to shape BNZ’s Pega architecture and technical direction. You will provide technical leadership, guiding platform, product and delivery teams across case management, workflows, integrations and data.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, architectural governance, and collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable and maintainable Pega solutions. NZ bank career growth and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Pega certification(s) and experience designing and delivering Pega Platform solutions.
• Ability to lead architecture and delivery of enterprise-scale Pega implementations in banking/financial services.
• Proficiency in case and workflow design, integration and data architecture with reusable components.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for BNZ’s Pega capability and set architectural direction.
• Shape end-to-end Pega solutions across case management, workflows, integrations and data.
• Balance security, performance, resilience, and maintainability with BNZ’s architectural standards.
• Review designs and code, diagnose complex issues, and provide engineering assurance.
• Lead the technical roadmap for Pega architecture and modernisation initiatives.
