Pathways in Central Auckland is launching a new peer-led acute mental health service. We are seeking an inspiring Senior Peer Support Specialist to provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship within our peer team.

You will oversee shifts, model peer values, support Peer Support Specialists to grow, and promote recovery, wellbeing, and continuous improvement in a rights-based care environment. This is a permanent part-time role with a supportive team.

Qualifikationen

• Lived experience of mental illness and addictions.
• Completed Level 4 certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent, or intent to commence training within three months.
• Able to speak to your lived and living experience and journey to wellbeing.
• Knowledge of, and commitment to, Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Aufgaben

• Lead, inspire and support others while ensuring practice reflects peer values and principles.
• Oversee running of shifts, role model core peer values, and support Peer Support Specialists to grow.
• Foster a culture of recovery, wellbeing, continuous improvement and innovation while ensuring high-quality peer support practice.
• Provide authentic leadership, coaching and mentoring to empower kaimahi to achieve their personal best.
