Job summary

Bupa Group in Auckland seeks a Senior Payroll Officer to deliver accurate, on-time payroll across multiple groups and ensure records stay up-to-date. You will apply NZ legislation and policies with care, resolve complex adjustments, and provide trusted support to employees and managers.

You will work with iChris, UKG Dimensions, Workday and Paytools, using your end-to-end payroll experience to maintain accuracy and timeliness while meeting critical deadlines and contributing to a robust payroll

Qualifications

• You have NZ payroll experience, ideally in a high-volume environment.
• You can handle complex payroll matters with sound judgement.
• You meet NZ payroll legislation knowledge and reporting controls.
• You are proficient with payroll systems like iChris, UKG Dimensions, Workday and Paytools.
• You communicate clearly and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, on-time payroll across multiple pay groups.
• Keep payroll records up-to-date with employee details and leave balances.
• Apply NZ legislation, employment agreements and policies with care and consistency.
• Resolve one-off payments, corrections and complex adjustments with approvals and audit trails.
• Be a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on payroll queries.
• Support pay period, month-end and year-end activities with reconciliations and reporting.
• Use Paytools and ServiceNow to manage workflows and support a responsive payroll experience.
