Job summary

American International Group (AIG) is seeking a Senior Enterprise Risk Advisory Partner, Pacific, to lead Line 2 risk advisory across the Pacific region from New Zealand. The role focuses on delivering practical risk insights, governance discipline and risk-based decision support for senior stakeholders in a regulated insurance environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in enterprise risk management, governance and regulatory risk disciplines.
• Experience supporting regulated general insurance businesses with risk-based decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior Line 2 enterprise risk advisory support across the Pacific business and stakeholders.
• Interpret and apply AIG’s risk frameworks, policies and risk appetite across portfolios.
• Support key enterprise risk management activities including risk assessments, issue management and risk reporting.
• Monitor risk profiles and governance across portfolios and escalate where required.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen risk ownership and execution discipline.
• Prepare risk updates and materials for senior management and committees.
• Contribute to uplift of ERM processes, tools and reporting across the Pacific region.
• Support regulatory, audit and assurance activities with risk insights.
