• Experience in Open Finance, payments or financial services.
• Strong grasp of Open Finance frameworks, API ecosystems and obligations.
• Experience engaging with regulators and industry bodies.
• Ability to translate industry changes into business impacts and actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead Westpac NZ Open Finance domain, industry participation and ecosystem engagement.
• Own strategic position, standards, obligations and operating frameworks for Open Finance.
• Represent Westpac in industry and regulatory forums to shape future open finance directions.
• Lead assessment of industry changes into business impacts and implementation requirements.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory consultations and policy proposals.
• Oversee governance, risk and compliance for Open Finance across the organisation.
• Manage ecosystem relationships with fintechs and third parties.
• Monitor industry developments and provide insights to senior leaders.
• Collaborate with Product, Digital, Technology, Risk and Operations to evolve Open Finance capabilities.
