Westpac New Zealand Ltd is seeking a senior leader to head Open Finance, oversee industry participation and ecosystem engagements, and ensure regulatory alignment. You will own the Open Finance rails, standards and frameworks, working with regulators, fintechs and industry bodies to shape future rules and operating models.

The role requires strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management and the ability to translate industry changes into business actions.

Qualificações

• Experience in Open Finance, payments, banking or related financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of Open Finance frameworks and API ecosystems.
• Experience engaging with regulators, industry bodies, standards organisations and external stakeholders.
• Ability to translate industry and regulatory change into business impacts and actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive papers and briefings.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Open Finance strategy, industry participation and ecosystem engagement.
• Represent Westpac in regulators, industry forums and stakeholder groups.
• Own governance, risk and compliance for Open Finance obligations and frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product, Digital, Technology, Risk and Operations to evolve capabilities.
• Monitor industry developments and provide insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
