Job summary

SkyCity Entertainment Group in Auckland is seeking a talented Motion Designer to turn ideas into captivating visual stories. You will join our Brand & Creative team to bring the SkyCity brand to life through motion graphics, animation, and video across social, digital, events, and campaigns.

You will collaborate with designers, marketers, and producers, develop concepts, storyboards, and animatics, and deliver high‑quality content on tight deadlines while staying ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

5+ years' experience in Motion Design/animation.
Showreel demonstrating strong 2D animation and design craft.
Advanced After Effects and Premiere Pro skills.
Strong typography, composition, colour, and brand application.

Responsibilities

Create motion graphics, animations, and video content across social, digital, web, EDM, broadcast, cinema, and large-format screens.
Develop concepts, storyboards, style frames, and animatics to bring ideas to life.
Edit video content, including audio, colour correction, and final delivery.
Produce accurate, high-quality artwork and motion assets that align with brand standards.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and production requirements.
Build motion templates, toolkits, and best-practice resources for the studio.
Stay ahead of industry trends and bring fresh ideas to your work.
