Job summary

EverWell, a Timely/EverCommerce vertical, seeks a Lead Platform Mobile Engineer to shape and own iOS and Android mobile platforms. This senior, hands-on role offers impact across architecture, standards, and delivery, with the flexibility to work remotely in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mobile engineering across iOS and Android.
• Experience leading technical projects and influencing architecture.
• Solid understanding of mobile platform architecture, performance, reliability, and security.
• Ability to spot technical challenges, prioritise improvements and find practical solutions.
• Confidence working across engineering and product teams, bringing people together to get things done.
• Great communication skills and a collaborative approach to solving problems.
• A passion for sharing knowledge, mentoring others and continuously improving how things are done.

Responsibilities

• Own and shape the technical direction of our iOS and Android mobile platforms.
• Lead improvements to our mobile architecture, engineering standards and development practices.
• Tackle technical debt and platform challenges to make our apps faster, more reliable and easier to maintain.
• Work closely with our mobile and product teams to improve how we build, test and release software.
• Balance platform improvements with product delivery, helping teams move quickly without compromising quality.
• Share knowledge, guide technical decisions and help our mobile engineers grow.
• Support critical mobile infrastructure, security and dependency updates across SalonBiz when needed.
