Job summary

Slalom in New Zealand is seeking a senior Machine Learning Architect to bridge strategy and hands-on delivery. You will design and implement next-gen AI/ML systems that integrate into customer applications, focusing on scalable, production-ready solutions.

Lead architecture for ML pipelines, including Generative AI, computer vision, and LLM integrations. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to turn complex business requirements into intelligent, practical features.

Qualifications

• Senior level consultant with proven AI/ML deployment track record.
• Deep understanding of neural networks, computer vision and Generative AI.
• Hands-on with TensorFlow, PyTorch and Scikit-learn; able to orchestrate LLM apps.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable production-ready AI/ML solutions from ground up.
• Drive integration of LLMs through advanced prompt engineering and prompt flows.
• Leverage TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLflow, Scikit-learn and Kubeflow to build models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to translate requirements.
