Health New Zealand Waitematā invites applications for a Senior Medical Imaging Technologist and Medical Imaging Student Coordinator at North Shore Hospital. This permanent, full-time role focuses on managing patient flow and supporting Radiology clinicians while serving as a super user for DR and Fluoroscopy systems.

You will lead training for Medical Imaging Students and MITs, and work with Senior MITs across Te Whatu Ora - Waitematā to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Imaging or equivalent.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Medical Imaging Technologist.
• Be registered with the NZ Medical Radiation Technologist's Board and hold an Annual Practising Certificate.
• Be enrolled in a recognised Continuing Professional Development programme.

Responsabilités

• Oversee patient flow within the Radiology department to ensure a high quality, customer-focused service.
• Provide support and assistance to Radiology clinical staff and act as super user of DR and Fluoroscopy equipment.
• Coordinate and train Medical Imaging Students and MITs, and collaborate with Senior MITs across Te Whatu Ora - Waitematā sites.
