Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Senior Medical Imaging Technologist and Medical Imaging Student Coordinator for North Shore Hospital. The role focuses on patient flow and supporting Radiology clinical staff to deliver high-quality, customer-focused service.

You will be the super user for DR and fluoroscopy equipment, oversee MIT training, and collaborate with Waitematā sites to ensure consistent service delivery across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Imaging or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Medical Imaging Technologist.
• Current registration with the NZ Medical Radiation Technologist's Board.
• Current Annual Practising Certificate.
• Enrolled in a recognised Continuing Professional Development (CDP) programme.
• PACs experience would be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Oversee patient flow within the Radiology Department.
• Support Radiology staff to ensure high-quality, customer-focused service.
• Be the super user for DR and fluoroscopy equipment.
• Train students and Medical Imaging Technologists.
• Collaborate with Te Whatu Ora Waitematā sites for consistent service delivery.
