Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Lakes in Whakatāne is seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT) or a new graduate. The role offers CT training within the first 6 months and a 0.8 FTE schedule (32 hours per week).

You will join a supportive, patient-centred team, contributing to a collaborative imaging service. The position requires rostered duties including evenings, weekends, and public holidays with participation in an out-of-hours roster.

Qualifications

• Registration with MRTB and current APC.
• Patient-centered approach and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate MIT radiology services including CT procedures.
• Be part of the out-of-hours roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Engage in CT training and professional development during the first 6 months.
