Beca is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical) to join its Industrial team in South Auckland. You will lead capital projects and equipment upgrades across a live manufacturing environment to boost plant performance, safety and reliability.

You will drive projects from concept through procurement, installation and commissioning, coordinating with operations, contractors and suppliers for successful handover and long-term value.

Formación

• You're a practical, safety-focused and proactive engineer.
• Experience delivering capital projects in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsabilidades

• Lead capital projects, equipment upgrades and operational improvement initiatives within a live manufacturing environment.
• Manage project scope, programme, budget, risk and stakeholder engagement from concept through to operational handover.
• Coordinate equipment vendors, suppliers, and local contractors through procurement, installation and commissioning.
• Work with operations and maintenance teams to integrate new equipment into existing plant infrastructure.
• Lead safe installation and commissioning activities in brownfield environments while maintaining operational continuity.
