Re-Generate is a specialist engineering business delivering energy and water projects across New Zealand and Australia. Our work spans consulting, design, supply, specialist services and contracting across hydro generation, renewables, gas, heavy industry and municipal infrastructure.
Our projects are rarely repetitive. They can involve hydro-generation equipment, large rotating machinery, gates, valves, piping, pressure equipment and complex industrial plant. You could contribute to new designs, upgrades and refurbishments, technical investigations, independent reviews, manufacture, site work and commissioning.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Christchurch or New Plymouth office. This role will particularly suit someone motivated by the quality and variety of the work, who wants to remain close to the engineering while also leading projects and working directly with clients.
Your work will include:
You will bring:
Hydro experience would be valuable, but it is not essential. We welcome transferable experience from oil and gas, petrochemical, process, heavy industrial, renewables or other complex mechanical environments.
In return, you will have the opportunity to work across genuinely interesting projects, influence technical and delivery decisions, and remain involved from early scoping through manufacture, installation and commissioning.
The role can be based in either Christchurch or New Plymouth.
Applicants must be based in New Zealand with appropriate working rights. No agency applications.
