Job summary

Enphase Energy is seeking a Senior Staff Magnetics Engineer to join their R&D Centre in Christchurch, NZ. You will lead development of magnetics and power electronics simulation tools for Enphase micro-inverters, mentoring engineers and guiding high-frequency designs.

The role requires a strong background in magnetic materials, high-frequency electronics, and extensive experience with FEA tools; NZ permanent residency or citizenship is required.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 10 years of product development experience from concept to market.
Proficiency with high frequency magnetics and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

Develop simulation tools for next generation micro-inverters.
Analyse real-world magnetics and circuit behaviour to improve accuracy.
Design high-frequency magnetics for high-volume manufacturing in micro-inverters.
Lead research into new magnetics materials and winding configurations.
Mentor hardware engineers in using FEA and Enphase simulation tools.
