Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Cleaning and Sterilization Expert for Queenstown operations. You will lead cleaning protocols, supervise a team, ensure HACCP compliance, and safeguard food safety in fast-paced kitchen environments.

You will train staff, maintain equipment hygiene, manage inventories, and document activities to support a culture of hygiene and safety across the kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in commercial kitchen cleaning or sanitation management.
• Solid knowledge of HACCP and health regulations.
• Experience leading cleaning teams and training staff.
• Proficient use of commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexibility for evenings and weekends as required in Queenstown.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce cleaning and sterilization schedules for all kitchen areas.
• Ensure compliance with local health regulations and HACCP standards.
• Train and supervise cleaning staff with clear instructions and feedback.
• Conduct regular kitchen cleanliness inspections and address issues.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and safe storage.
