Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in infrastructure development to lead major projects in Queenstown. You will oversee feasibility, design, construction and handover while ensuring quality, safety and environmental standards.

Role requires strong leadership, extensive PM experience, and collaboration with contractors, consultants, and government agencies to deliver on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Master's degree or PMP certification is advantageous.
• 10+ years of experience in managing significant infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of infrastructure development projects, from concept to completion.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and resources for large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, permits, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams, external contractors, consultants, and government agencies.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential project challenges.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and safety on-site, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
