Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead automation and robotics initiatives from a remote setup. You will identify opportunities, evaluate technologies, design automated solutions, and guide implementation to boost productivity, safety, and quality across manufacturing processes.

The role demands a master’s in engineering with automation focus and 8+ years of experience in automation-rich environments, plus strong PLC/HMI skills and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering with automation focus.
• 8+ years in industrial engineering with automation/robotics.
• Experience designing/implementing automated systems and robotic cells.
• Strong knowledge of control systems, PLC, and HMI.
• Experience with simulation tools for robotics/automation design.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess opportunities for applying automation and robotics in manufacturing processes.
• Design, specify, and oversee the integration of automated systems and robotic equipment.
• Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines for automation projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of automated solutions.
• Develop and implement maintenance, optimization, and upgrades of automated systems.
• Provide technical guidance on automation technologies to cross-functional teams.
