Job summary

Westcon-Comstor NZ is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to partner with leaders and employees across the full lifecycle, reporting to the APAC HR Business Partner and leading one direct report. This role covers advice, coaching, employee relations, recruitment, development and engagement, helping create an inclusive workplace where people can succeed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' HR experience across advisory, employee relations, business partnering and/or people operations.
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practice.
• A confident coach who can build credibility and trusted relationships at all levels.
• Sound judgement and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and genuine passion for helping people and teams succeed.

We're looking for a Senior HR Generalist to support our New Zealand business, partnering with leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle. Reporting to the APAC HR Business Partner and leading one direct report, you'll be a trusted advisor who combines sound HR expertise with practical, people-focused solutions.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with leaders on employee relations, recruitment, performance, development and engagement, while helping create a positive and inclusive workplace where people can succeed.

What you'll be doing

• Partnering with leaders to provide practical HR advice and support
